CG is a sweet little coffee + tea bar thats open late. Great for studying, table top games, chess, socializing, and getting work done. The population is dominantly male gamers but everyone is super kind and plus, they play great indie music here! Thanks Steve for always being welcoming alongside everyone else! The only coffee/tea spot in CLE open late enough for us late-nighters

Calm and quiet during the day, not as busy in the evening as it used to be. After chatting with the workers, I found that they will most likely not be returning to 24hrs, which is unfortunate but understandable. They are still open way later than any other coffee shop is going to be, and the coffee is still fantastic.

Very laid-back and eclectic place. Retro is a word that comes to mind but with some modern thrown in. Love the pinball machines in the rear because you don't see those everyday.

This place is amazing if you’re looking for a good atmosphere and good coffee. The staff has been extremely friendly and is always super helpful. Staff is always able to answer questions and the shop is kept clean. Booths are extremely comfortable and the late night hours provide the ability to study late while remaining caffeinated. New owner always looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction and staff always welcome me with a smile. Recommended to all of my friends and fellow students!

The staff have always been nice here. Ive loved their giant chocolate chip cookies since I was a kid. I appreciate the variety of alternative milks they have. And their specialty drinks always taste great.

This is a community. It's a third place. It's is a great place to make friends and have fun, chess, table tops happen weekly board games and sip and paints.

Nice place to go with friends or a date. This place haves art pieces of local artist . The have board games and pin ball machine. The coffee is great reasonable price and food is good .

I’ve been coming here for years and absolutely love it. Simple yet fun menu. Great vibes. Just make sure you bring cash. I’d highly recommend this coffee spot!

I don't live in the Cleveland area but I visit a lot. I was introduced to this place on my current visit, and I wish there was a place like this where I'm from! I've came here twice this week for some tea and time to work on my book. Based on my limited experience here, seems like Common Grounds is an LGBTQ+ friendly safe haven for creative folks, night owls, and even D&D players. I've seen artists drawing, friends playing games, and individuals just coming to study or take a beat. This truly feels like a third space, the staff is sweet and welcoming, it was definitely a good spot to nerd out. The best part is that it's open until 2AM, and as someone who gets their best work done late at night, I literally dream of a place like this closer to me. We NEED spaces like this more than ever right now!!
